Professional Learning Communities & Professional Development
We’re not just for high school students.
The InnovatED eLS is an ideal platform for supporting Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and Professional Development (PD). Professional Learning Communities represent a community of educators, administrators, professionals, and concerned individuals who seek knowledge, skills, and best practices that will improve their effectiveness; and then are willing to implement what they learn from these PLCs. Through these communities, or forums, professionals can share resources, experiences, and tools that have helped them in their chosen field.
Professional Development that would otherwise be delivered in a face-to-face environment can be converted to online training using the InnovatED eLS. This change can create better efficiencies through increased flexibility for participant scheduling, lower costs for delivering training, and ubiquitous access to training.
Your school or business can easily customize the InnovatED eLS to support staff development and continuing their education. By creating a common learning repository, as well as providing a center for professional discussion, you are fostering an innovative learning environment for your staff and business.
