Our courses use content that is developed by subject matter experts, includes interactive e-text books and other supporting educational tools, and allows teachers to successfully engage their students in the learning process. We utilize the “Understanding by Design” by McTighe & Wiggins model to develop and continually revise and improve all of our course content. InnovatED’s curriculum aligns to all state education standards and can also be customized to meet a district’s or institutions unique standards. We have integrated e-Holt, one of the premier providers of student textbooks, into our courses which enrich our student experience. Students will find that Holt’s dynamic, interactive e-books provide interesting and engaging educational support.
However, what many of our partners find particular appealing is the fact that InnovatED is content neutral. We've spent time and effort developing our own content and partnering with best of breed content providers, but our platform is robust enough and flexible enough to support any content that a school wants to add. The InnovatED platform easily becomes a central repository for lesson plans, 3rd party content materials, and customized courses.
Our course management system uses learning modules to allow districts to add their own assessments and materials. Districts and organizations have the power to re-sequence, augment and customize the curriculum within the InnovatED design structure and philosophy. This flexibility allows districts to keep the learning experience consistent throughout the school district and make their online content unique and fully customizable.
