Dr. Matwick will be discussing the use of online learning as an effective and engaging approach to addressing credit recovery needs. InnovatED has created the Senior Rescue program, a low-impact/high-return online learning program that will allow high school seniors to recover missing or failed course credits, while delivering critical educational services to your students. This program will give your high school seniors a chance to fulfill their graduation requirements and complete their goal of obtaining a high-school diploma. We believe that we will be successful and in doing so, earn the right to expand our relationship to serve more students in the future.
Senior Rescue is a credit recovery program focused on helping your high school seniors stay on track toward their cohort graduation. We are fully-accredited by AdvancED and all of our courses are NCAA-approved with a proven track record of high completion and success rates. This unique credit-recovery program will enable your seniors to quickly earn course credits and get them back on track for their graduation.
InnovatED will collaborate with you to develop an implementation plan that will include all of the technology provisions and provide instructional and student support necessary to your students in completing their courses.
How does it work?
InnovatED offers two program options: 1) schools and districts may choose to purchase courses on a one-off basis as needed by their students, or 2) schools and districts may choose to partner with InnovatED to establish their own branded online education program to service the needs of their students. If you are interested in purchasing single courses, as needed by your students, please contact an InnovatED Business Development Manager and they will assist you with getting started right away.
If you are interested in a branded solution , InnovatED will collaborate with you and your team to develop a timeline and implementation plan that meets your objectives. The time-line below shows the typical time frame and activities needed to execute an effective Senior Rescue program.

Our certified and highly-qualified teachers will provide exceptional educational experiences for your students in all of their academic courses. In addition to your designated Program Administrator who will be the primary contact working with InnovatED, you need only to identify an Online Mentor for the program, whose job it is to monitor student progress, help set goals and inspire students to complete their courses. This individual will either monitor students working in an onsite computer lab 4-5 days a week or will work with students working remotely, via phone and email, to ensure they’re staying on target. If you choose, the Program Administrator and Online Mentor can be one in the same!
InnovatED understands that at the end of the day, success is measured by how your students perform. InnovatED’s system automatically records student activity in four key areas - time, pace, grade, and engagement -- and displays it in an easy-to-read dashboard. Through three simple steps -- Measurement, Notification and Targeted Action -- administrators and instructors have, at their fingertips, all of the information and tools they need to proactively engage their students. Additionally, InnovatED will provide your faculty and/or program administrator with access to real-time reports within our eLearning System (eLS).

InnovatED will begin by leading a one-time comprehensive implementation meeting to determine your specific needs. Following the implementation meeting, InnovatED will conduct a 60-minute web-based training for your Online Mentor and Program Administrator. The final training will be conducted face-to-face; beginning with a 3 ½ hour session focused on staff orientation, followed the next day with a student support session coinciding with initial student engagement.

- Conducting a successful student orientation
- A day in the life of an online student
- Monitoring student activity and progress
- Increasing student engagement and intervention strategies
The cost for this Senior Rescue Program is only $5000.
Our goal is to deliver results for your students while lowering the impact on your organization. Beyond the Senior Rescue program implementation, if desired, InnovatED's program extends to facilitating a more expansive range of student needs, which would include partners assuming responsibility for instruction, while InnovatED continues to provide technical and program support.
