St. Tammany Parish - Louisiana
Just north of Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana, St. Tammany Parish Public Schools consists of more than 56 schools and is home to more than 36,000. Due to new state requirements, students in St. Tammany Parish are required to complete two full years of world language courses. There were not enough teachers to fulfill the increased demand for world language at St. Tammany.
InnovatED teamed up with St. Tammany to meet this increased demand. The InnovatED platform was used to deliver Spanish courses to the students while InnovatED online instructors assisted St. Tammany instructors in supporting the courses. Students were able to meet their world language credit requirement by taking their courses in a 100% online environment.
Best of all, St. Tammany students had a 100% course pass rate. Congratulations, St. Tammany!
